Let’s face it. We all thought the pandemic would be over by now. We put plans on hold for the short term, rescheduled some important events, and assumed we’d recover quickly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like life will be “getting back to normal” any time in the immediate future. Sitterly Movers is here for you and wants you to know you can still have a smooth, professional, affordable, and safe move during the pandemic.
How Do I Move During a Global Pandemic? A step-by-step guide from Sitterly Movers.
-
PLAN: We are here to help you plan your local or long-distance move, but due to social distancing, our office is operating with reduced staff. If you reach our voicemail, please leave a message and someone will get back to you as soon as possible!
-
MASKS: If you’re coming into the office, we would really appreciate it if you would wear a face covering or mask. On the day of your move, please maintain a six-foot distance and wear a mask when interacting with our movers. Whenever possible, our moving staff is committed to wearing masks for your safety, and we’d feel so much better if you returned the favor.
-
SANITIZE: Be assured our office and moving equipment is sanitized regularly. We are also following CDC and MA Public Health recommendations for hand-washing and sanitizing protocols.
-
ILLNESS: This part is simple. If you feel sick, don’t come into our office, or contact us to reschedule your moving appointment – we do not charge any fees for these changes. Our staff is under the same guidelines: if they’re feeling sick, they’re staying home.
-
NOT SURE? JUST ASK! This new world we’re all living in is really weird. We get it. If you have any questions about how Sitterly Movers can make you feel safe during your move, please let us know.
-
BREATHE – WITH YOUR MASK ON! You there! Take a moment. Relax those shoulders. Unclench those teeth. We know moving is stressful, let alone at a time like this. Sitterly Movers is committed to making this move as normal as possible for you. Let us know how we can work together to stay safe and get you into your new home!

UNPACK. The worst part. Enough said. But hey, at least that’s one thing COVID didn’t change?
