Sitterly Movers makes college life a piece of cake! As a family-owner moving company founded in 1930, we’ve spent a long time learning how to handle moving day the right way. We are a leader in summer storage for prep school and university students across Western MA, Northern CT, Southern NH, and Southern VT, and we’re ready for you! Let Sitterly Movers transport and store your personal items. Your time and energy should be used for more important things, like watching TikTok studying.
We have worked with many preparatory academies, including Deerfield Academy, Williston Northampton School, and Eaglebrook School. Some colleges and universities we work with include Smith College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, Amherst College, University of Massachusetts, among many others in the Pioneer Valley.
How It Works
We know you’re busy studying, so we make it easy to request student storage online.
Sign Up
Fill out the online form below with all your details and we will be in touch to confirm your pick up day and time.
Packing
Any boxes you requested will be delivered so you can pack. If you choose to have us pack, we will take care of it on pick up day.
Pick Up
Our trucks and movers will come to your campus during your allotted time set during sign up.
Storage
We’ve collected your belongings. What happens next?
Inventory
We will perform a full inventory of everything being moved and storage. Inventory each box, piece of furniture, or item. Include conditions of each piece (scratch on left leg, stain on seat, etc.) and each item will be given a number.
Storage
Your belongings will be stored in our secure warehouse in South Deerfield, MA until the school re-opens in the fall.
Delivery
We will deliver items to your dorm room when the school re-opens with our drones. And by “drones” we mean “trucks.”
